I have to say having been to pamps the last few years either I'm not particularly fussy or must walk round with my eyes shut as my gripes are very few - here goes

1) As previously mentioned I resent paying to use a toilet when I have been eating or drinking in the establishment this seemed to be very common last year for the first time ( I refused to pay anywhere ....prob didn't make me very popular )
2) If there was any way of ensuring runs were more skiable in variable weather this would be fab having had a couple of dodgy seasons but it didn't bother us much and certainly didn't stop us skiing
3) Also although I don't have this problem anymore as my son has just reached the golden age of 8 - it is a real shame that I have had to pay inflated prices for his equipment and tuition due to the lack of being able to prebook with tour operators. I can understand charging more to those who have not had the foresight to prebook but for the last 4 yrs it was impossible for me to do so and as a result I have paid more - however Logan is a great skiier and has had some fab holidays so this is really only a moan ( sorry)

PS Amanda I think your idea of a comment book is a fab idea also would be great to meet you this year I know last year it was a pretty rough time when I came out but if you are around this year would be brill.

i will be in the tourist and information centre located next to the first investment bank near ski station one next to the enterance of Pamporovo palace, i a there all this week and after i will be there at the weekends untill at least 5pm.

Everyone is welcome to pop in and the kettle is always hot, Eva should be there in the week she is very friendly, if the office is popular i will open it next year too.

I sounded like a bit of a moaner in my previous post but i'm not really and there are so many good things about Pamps a comment book sounds good but would people pop in to enter info? we will just have to see

very intresting comments from all you guys that have been going for a few years. you all seem to agree its got worse. prices ,rip off this n that . i really hope get the improvements you crave. i feel its not so good value for money now ,and not worth the hassle. was going to book for febuary but after reading peoples post on returning from various resorts and this thread .think i will not bother with bg this year ,will look elswhere.
really hope the people who can change things listen to what you guys are saying .these are people who have been to bg for many years and have good valid points.

Forgive me in advance for sounding completely stupid but have no idea where ski centre 1 is ....I know I've been coming out for years but always go to malina. Is that the one by the chinese if so I know it's in pamps but have no idea how to get there as the only time I've been Michelle took me......I know I'm hopeless

I will def pop in if I can work out where it is if not will try and sort something out otherwise though am not out til mid feb for half term. Is your mobile no still the same as I still have that from last year?

I don't think you sounded like a moaner as someone who lives there and talks to lots of tourists you are more likely to know what bugs them and if anything can be done to resolve any issues thats gotta be good.

Am beginning to seriously wonder if we walk round with our eyes shut though as we really don't seem to mind that much in resort or maybe its just because we haven't skied anywhere else.

It might be a good idea for pamps to invest in a dry ski slope, it could be used in Summer as an activity and in Winter when the snow is bad.
We have a large dry ski slope near us at home and it gets used all year round.

I have been to Pamps 5 times and have just returned from France ski-ing for new year week, booked with the same tour operator that I use for Pamps.

In my opinion the Accomodation, Cleanliness, Hospitality, Food, Apres Ski, Ski School, Tour Operators, General Prices now Euro has gone mad, was far better in Pamps.

In France it was working out over £5 for 2 cups of tea and £15 for 1 plate of Burger, Chips and Salad or £7 for a Sandwich. That is a rip off. Alot of people made their own and sat on the mountain and had a pic-nic. People even took flasks of Tea.
Not sure how much it is in Levs for the same this year but would be interested to know.

We payed over £1000 each for this Holiday and we didn\'t get our bathroom cleaned all week, no towel change or sheets changed. Pamps accomodation has always been first class for me.

Hope to see you in feb when we come on our anual ski holiday to pamps.
Pamps is a beautiful resort with lots of potential.
Toilets need updating, and i dont mind paying for well maintained modern loos.
I would like to see the same standard of respect for visitors we received 6 years ago. Friendly helpful staff who did all they can to make your holiday a pleasent experience.
We are watching the pennies this year and we know who put extra on our bills in resturants and over charged, and so we will only be using reputable resturants this year and I hope others do the same to stop this deceitful practice.
there are some great places to go that make us welcome and dont over charge.
I agree the signs for the runs could be replaced with clearer ones.
Pamps should gain a reputation for a cheaper alternative to the Alps, with a quality provision of ski service, apres ski and accomodation. Service providers need to realise that to keep holidaymakers coming back, they must feel they have had a value for money FUN holiday just like the first time we visited.
