Bulgaria Ski discussion board

The thing I find frustrating is that there is obviously a lot of money being spent there by tourists ..even more it seems now prices are hiked..but it doesnt seem any is being spent on improving anything
The equipment I used was ancient and battered (rear entry boots with paper thin linings that smelt pretty bad! and skis with rusty edges and badly scored undersides) the gondola ..God bless it! is still grinding away somehow .. I did have a good time trying to ski and didnt expect things to be as good as other resorts. But there must be a lot of money washing around and not being re-invested hmm.. I read that Emil Kyulev ,the man behind Super Borovets was murdered in 2005 two years after the owner of Borosport met his end.. maybe theres people who dont want change there and like things as they are.... Shame its a nice place in many ways, but other resorts look more attractive now they are coming into the same price range...
