Fantastic customer service there and the highest regard for health and safety. But the skiing is rubbish if you DON'T like 'acres and acres and acres of wide, powdery runs for all abilities with state of the art lift systems and friendly mountain staff that are totally on the ball! LOL Wink

...oh and be prepared (in Canada) to spend about half an hour when you are being fitted for boots and ski's (if you are) not because of queues, but because they will insist on ensuring that your boots fit perfectly, that your ski's are exactly right for you and that your bindings are set correctly!

Couldn't agree more with you, it may cost a little more to go out there but its as cheap to eat there as in Boro and the food is a million times better, but the service most of the time is out of this world. Beginners get boots that fit and ski that are set right ( release ) Ski school instructors who all care, you don't have to be lucky to get a good one. A place where people you tip because you want to and not because someone holds their hand out. And don't even get me started on the ...

have a look at Sunshine (- 9hrs)

Pete,
i have looked at canada, but we are really just begginers/
low intermediate. i can't see anywhere that there are any
ski schools for us, it looks like it is just complete begginers that can go into ski school, surely there must
be instructors for our levels?
presumably youve been, is this the case?

think people took me the wrong way yesterday.
