Do you know if there was anyone on the site at all? They sometimes stop building externally to work on the internal stuff for a while. We were out in Bansko at the end of March/Beginning of April this year and there were builders on the site at Woodland Spring then and at B H then too. Wonder if they are putting the final touches to St Davids instead. The company has quite a few building projects on the go and with the amount of building work going on in Bansko would imagine they would need to jiggle the workoad a bit. I know that they had a few problems with the furniture providers and were changing to a different one, which may have delayed St Davids final fit out so the workforce could have been utilised there. Would not get too worried about it at the moment, its amazing how quickly they can complete things. Will keep my fingers crossed for February. Would you be able to send the photos to me? The most recent news that we had re the golf developments were that it was only for those that had purchased on the golf development and would not be available initially for anyone else. Have copied a note from the company that I received on 1st August below. Please see below.

In reply to your email of 30th July I hope to answer your concerns.

The reasons for the delay in the development of Woodlands spring is that we have had several issues with the construction company that we could not resolve between us.
Therefore we felt it necessary to change construction contractors and have had to renegotiate a new schedule of works for completion which has resulted in their being this delay.

In the course of time you will be receiving the information on the revised payment terms and the dates for payment.

The building work has progressed slowly but we are at the roof level currently.

I hope this clears your concerns and we will update you on progress and procedures as we continue.
We always aim to get our projects finished on time and to budget and we will get a more accurate timescale that you require as we progress.

In regard to the golf course and use it was at first common knowledge between developers that the golf course was to be available for the public to be able to play. Since this time Pirin developments have released a statement saying that the course will become exclusive for property owners within the development only. Nevertheless since this statement some hotels are allowing overnight guests the availability to play here. It is our view that this will eventually extend to the public being allowed access to enable the company to pay and service this investment.

Hi Paul

The letter was waiting on my doormat when I got in last night. More or less what I expected, the letter indicated that they may have a financier but I'm not convinced anything will come of this in this instance. Still, as ever, eternally optimistic, we are prepared to sit tight (not sure if we have an alternative at the moment as not sure if they would have any monies to pay our money back).

I think there is a good chance it will get completed eventually but may take a year or so, think we are in this for the long haul.

Are you planning on going out to Bulgaria any time soon, we may possibly go sometime next year.

John, have you heard anything about Boudicea Heights, is it in the same situation. Would look for alternative accommodation if I was you for February.
